UPS OFFLINE

The PC5 family is the latest evolution of personal continuity devices. Based on Off-line technology with automatic voltage stabilizer (AVR), they have been designed to offer high performance in terms of functionality and reliability, through the use of a microprocessor that manages all the control and communication functions with the computer. They are protected from overload, short circuit and incorrect input connection; events that are promptly signaled by an alarm and depending on the case cause the precautionary shutdown of the UPS. When turned on, an automatic test is performed on the entire system, including batteries, thus ensuring perfect functionality in the event of a blackout. These tests can also be performed manually by the operator. In the event of battery operation (blackout), both the mains failure status and, when necessary, the battery “reserve” status are signaled by means of an optical and acoustic alarm. To avoid the complete discharge of the latter, the system turns off automatically. PC interface software is available for monitoring via USB.

UPS INTERACTIVE

The NET2 family is the most compact UPS solution with Interactive technology and pure sine wave output. Two versions are available, tower and Rack / convertible, the first with powers of 1, 1.5 and 2kVA the second of 1, 1.5, 2, 3kVA. These are extremely versatile products and studied in detail to make every operation simple. Voltage stability is guaranteed, in the presence of the mains, by a Buck-Boost voltage stabilizer (AVR) and, when it comes into operation, the inverter provides a purely sinusoidal output. The AVR Buck-Boost system allows you to correct a wide range of under and over power supplies without requiring the inverter to intervene; this ensures that the heart of the system is preserved, to the benefit of the reliability and duration of the batteries. A microprocessor controls all the system functions and manages communications with any external devices / systems (computers, LANs, remote control systems, etc.), also through dedicated optional additional cards. The units are equipped with an easy-to-read LCD display through which the system shows its status (synoptic panel) and the main instantaneous operating parameters. The supplied software allows you to check the operating status, program system tests as well as switch off the loads in the event of a blackout. The connection can be made in an extremely simple way, via RS232 or USB.

UPS ONLINE

The MEDEL ICT2e UPS family, all with double conversion On Line technology (VFI-111), represents the ideal solution for the protection of critical loads such as small data centers or offices , auxiliary or emergency systems or, in general, all those applications that require power supply continuity with medium-power loads. Designed to be extremely robust and reliable even in continuous use at maximum loads, it provides a perfectly sinusoidal and stable output power supply, thanks to the DSP control which also allows it to have zero input distortion and total control over operation. of the system. All single-phase systems are equipped with an internal battery park that ensures standard autonomy, sufficient for generic applications; for three-phase systems, and in general to increase autonomy, modular battery packs are available that are easy and quick to install. And if the need is to reduce charging times, or to apply battery packs for particularly long autonomies, it is possible to equip all systems of the ICT2e family with an auxiliary battery charger. The control and settings of the system parameters can be performed through the simple and intuitive front control panel. In addition, there is a standard USB communication port and an expansion slot for modules (SNMP / WEB for LAN / Ethernet connection, AS400 card, RS232). All systems are equipped with an EPO (Emergency Power Off) contact for maximum operational safety.

The UPS of the MDP (30 - 200 kVA) and MDP2 (10 - 20 kVA) family have been designed to guarantee one of the highest efficiency and at the same time absolute reliability ; reliability which translates into low maintenance costs and failure rates. All designed for three-phase input and output, the lower power units can be requested with single-phase output, in which case the input can also be connected to a single-phase source. This feature makes this family extremely versatile and suitable for every system need. Both the inverter and the rectifier exploit the most modern IGBT technology allowing, the first to have a perfectly sinusoidal voltage output, without disturbances and extremely stable, the second an input power factor (cosf) close to or equal to 1 and a THD% that can be practically canceled, thanks to the filters that can be installed on the machine. The technology used has made it possible to obtain UPS of extremely compact dimensions and a wide range of powers also thanks to the possibility of connecting up to 8 machines in parallel, even with different powers. It is possible to extend the autonomy thanks to external cabinets and, if necessary, the adoption of auxiliary battery chargers. Several communication interfaces are available: SNMP / WEB, AS400, RS232. To control the UPS, through these interfaces, control software and an intelligent load shutdown system are available.

The UPS of the MDI2 family represent the top of the range in terms of unitary power. They are available in sizes from 100kVA to 600kVA, with online double conversion technology made entirely of IGBT and DSP (Digital Signal Processor) control. The MDI2 are characterized by the output isolation transformer (on the inverter) inside the UPS cabinet, providing galvanic isolation of the load from the battery and greater versatility in system configurations; this implies a total galvanic isolation for medical applications, two network inputs (main and emergency) really separate and coming from two different power sources (with different neutrals) and an installation in distribution without neutral. Thanks to the possibility of connecting up to 8 units in parallel, the total power obtainable reaches 1,600kVA, or, in a redundant N + 1 configuration, it is possible to have “fault tolerant” systems. The battery is always housed in external modular cabinets, and for the most powerful systems, single-element accumulator parks can be provided, distributed on shelves (typically housed in dedicated rooms). Several communication interfaces are available: SNMP / WEB, AS400, RS232. To control the UPS via these interfaces, control software and an intelligent load shutdown system are available.

The MPR2 was created to cover the need for redundant systems in critical applications, such as data centers, hospitals, barracks, security systems and in general all applications where the power supply is not it can never be interrupted. It is a modular system with three-phase input and output. Each module is made in 19 ”drawers, a power of 42kVA, a DSP control, double conversion technology and the possibility of redundant configuration. The MPR2 units guarantee the maximum rated power with unitary output power factor (kVA = kW) The modules, of 42kVA each, dynamically divide the load, and can be activated, deactivated, replaced or added in an extremely simple, fast and above all “Hot”, that is, without interrupting either the power supply to the load or the protection function (UPS) of the system. Each module consists of a complete UPS and the parallel management logic is distributed between them, which means that the whole system, unlike others, has no critical point, such as a central supervision unit. The general display has the sole function of showing the operation of the system, any alarms as well as allowing the basic system settings. The standard interfaces with the outside are represented by the usual RS232 serial port, an RS485, and the slot for inserting optional cards (AS400 / dry contacts, LAN / SNMP, Modbus).
